There is a beautiful ice fall on the South route of Damavand Mountain called Abshar Yakhi, located at 5100 meters, the highest frozen fall in Iran, it is approximately 10 to 15 meters tall. Not sure about its rank in the world?!
Almost a permenant icefall for years, but only in a very hot summer it may collapse. The source of water/ice for this fall is a small glacier just above it.
The beauty of this wonderful icy fall attract even tired climbers to change their way for a quick visit to this phenomenal.
