Icefall of Mont Damavand (or icy fall, Farsi name Abshar Yakhi ), is about 12m tall at 5100m elevation, it is the highest fall in Iran and Middle East. I am not sure about its rank in the world ?! It is located in south side of damavand near south climbing route , almost a permenant icefall for many years , only in a very hot summer it may collapse. The beauty of this wonderful icy fall attract even tired and spent climbers to change their way for a quick visit to this strange icefall
