Personal Best Climbing Record
Ardeshir Soltani, the founder of the Damavand-Info, achieved an impressive feat in 2007 by reaching the summit of Mount Damavand 24 consecutive times between May 7 and October 17. This remarkable accomplishment stands as one of the most notable marathon climbing records on Damavand for that year.
Prior to this, another of our expert guides, Mr. Mojtaba Saghiyan, held the record with 22 successful ascents in 2006. Ardeshir's overall personal best includes an extraordinary 100 climbs to the summit of Damavand between 1988 and 2008, a milestone that earned him membership in the prestigious "100th Damavand Club." His dedication and unmatched experience continue to inspire climbers from around the world.
