About Damavand Adventures
With more than 35 years of mountaineering experience, our guides have extensive knowledge of Mount Damavand’s routes, camps, weather conditions, and climbing techniques. Most members of our team have reached the summit of Mount Damavand more than 100 times and are recognized members of the 100 Damavand Club and the Iran Mountaineering and Sport Climbing Federation.

Personal Best Climbing Record
Ardeshir Soltani, founder of Damavand Adventures, has one of the most remarkable climbing histories on Mount Damavand. In 2007, he reached the summit of Mount Damavand 24 consecutive times between May 7 and October 17, setting one of the notable annual climbing achievements on the mountain.
Before this achievement, Mr. Mojtaba Saghiyan, another experienced Damavand guide, held the record with 22 successful ascents in 2006. Ardeshir’s personal climbing record includes more than 100 successful summits of Mount Damavand between 1988 and 2008, an achievement that earned him membership in the prestigious "100th Damavand Club".
His decades of experience, local knowledge, and dedication to mountain safety continue to help climbers from around the world achieve their Damavand climbing goals.

Mount Damavand Summit
Damavand Base Camp, also known as Goosfand Sara Campsite, is the most accessible and well known starting point for treks up Mount Damavand in Iran. This base camp, located at an elevation of 3,040 meters, features a small mountain refuge, a mosque named Saheb al Zaman, and a sheepfold. It serves as the main launching pad for treks on the south route during the summer months. Positioned at coordinates 35.9020° N latitude and 52.1094° E longitude, it is the primary base camp for climbers aiming to ascend Damavand.
