Mummies of Mt Damavand
On the summit of the mountain there are few dead frozen animals which look like ancient Egypt mummies (of cours without bandages !). These bodys are there for a long time (perhaps more than 20 years).The cause of their dead is not quite known, perhaps they have died becuse of hunger, cold or sulphur gas. The frozen bodies belong to shee , gazelle and wolf. Due to coold weather and sulphur gas on the top, these bodies will remain for some years more in future.
