Shadow of Mount Damavand
You need a good timing in your ascent in order to witness the beautiful shadow of Mt Damavand during sunrise midway to the summit , also the chances of the mounatin being free of clouds are highest during the early morning hours. The recommended way of doing this , is to start your climb towards damavand summit at about 4.30 am from Bargah Sevom Camp . Note that the sunrise takes place between 6 and 7 am in summer and you may have the chance to see the damavand shadow approx at 7 am local time.
